Catherine Colling and Pieter Smith established Signature Home Care Solutions after we had the privilege of taking care of our aging and sick parents and friends.

We have learned from experience that old age homes, retirement villages, and private hospitals are often understaffed and not always dependable in providing the expected care our loved ones deserve. We became more involved and hands-on with the type of care our parents received.

Through this stressful and heartfelt experience, we found that elderly family members are not always honest with their adult children about their daily challenges and health concerns. They may not say anything because they do not want to be a burden or in the way. In today’s hectic life, it is easy to lose focus on the people who require the care and attention they deserve within the family dynamics. Therefore, we understand the challenges and frustrations families and individuals experience, and we know how important it is to ensure that loved ones receive the best care and attention.
